Schleswig-Holstein Cooperative University of Applied Sciences (DHSH)
The Schleswig-Holstein Cooperative University of Applied Sciences (DHSH) educates the next generation of Business Administration and Business Information Technology graduates in Kiel, Lübeck and Flensburg. It offers dual degree programmes in close cooperation with companies in and outside of Schleswig-Holstein.

The dual degree model was taken over from the vocational academy, Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein. This is where the DHSH emerged from.
As a university of applied sciences, since 2018 it has continued and further developed the 44 years of experience gathered by the vocational academy, under the responsibility of the Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein.
The six-semester degree programmes are closely linked with alternating practical units at companies. The university supplies the theoretical knowledge and the company provides the practical part. Sector modules – such as in Trade, Banking, Industry, Services or Real Estate – consolidate the overall know-how.
The degree is therefore both scientific and practical, and creates excellent perspectives for graduates with a general university entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification to assume leadership tasks in the economy.
The degree programmes – Business Administration and Business Information Technology – are successfully accredited by the FIBAA and are concluded with a Bachelor’s degree.
